Volume I Plate 88 - The North Temple of Khnum (Perspective View) ~ The North Temple of Khnum was a Ptolemaic temple with Roman interventions. It featured very large columns with elaborately sculpted flower-headed capitals. It had a religious cult connected to the main temple of Khnum (see Vol I, Plate 83). This temple was destroyed in 1830 for a canal project.
