He was the first to develop a compendium of maps to form a modern atlas. This is his map displaying the islands of Sardinia, Sicily, Corfu, Zerbi, Elba, and Malta, taken from the famous and very popular atlas Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, or “Atlas of the Whole World" which was produced for over 40 years.
