This steel engraving of the city of Vienna, Austria was created by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge and published in 1841.This large double page and highly detailed town plan has a variety of different Dublin buildings illustrated along the bottom of the map including court houses, churches, colleges, and monuments.

The Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge or SDUK, as the Society was known, produced inexpensive maps to encourage broad use in education.
