Inset map details the region just south of Liverpool to show the River Dee and the towns of Chester, Flint and Holt.

The sea chart shows the Ireland and the British Coast from Plymouth in Cornwall to Ayr in Scotland on it's southwestern coast. This map was taken from Neptune Francois. The chart is crossed by numerous rhumb lines and includes the coastal detail without naming inland towns. Sounding depths and sand banks are identified, a useful chart for a sea going captain.
