A lithographed map, with full color wash. Dissected into 36 sections and mounted on linen. Size: 30 inches X 43 inches. Folds into a case 5-1/4 x 8-3/4 inches Map Type: Case City This is an excellent copy, with good color and strong lines. This very detailed map of London shows the length of Thames River valley. Roads and great estates are identified and the map is color coded by district. It was originally published in 1855 and was available until 1894 with updates and changes. Benjamin Rees Davies was an engraver and cartographer active in London during the mid 19th century.
