This map is archivally framed. This map shows the entire Greek peninsula and Greek islands including the island of Crete. The cartouche is elaborate and highly decorative, with a figure surrounded by things representing knowledge and arts. Frederick de Wit (1629/30-1706) first set up as a map maker and map seller in Amsterdam circa 1652.
