Some age darkening along some fold lines, separations have been expertly repaired. This rare and very large map of Iowa was compiled from U.S.Survey records as well as by "personal reconnoisance" of the author. It exhibits the natural resources of the state, including iron, lead, copper, coal and others. Names of railroads completed, in progress, as well as planned are illustrated.
