This General Land Office map features an inset displaying the entire Aawaiian Archipelago. The main eight islands of the Hawaiian chain are illustrated, including Hawaii, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Kahoolawe, Oahu, Kauai, and Niihau. Each island is divided into named districts and topographical features are illustrated such as lava flow areas, mountain peaks, valleys. Towns, points, and a railroad can be seen as well. The channels between each island are named.
