his is a map of Canaan, today's Israel with north oriented to the right. The map has a large decorative title cartouche at bottom surrounded by vignettes depicting the life of Christ. Across the top, putti hold banners with the key to the map and scale of miles, while tiny ships sail in the sea, including the tracks of the voyages of the Apostle Paul.
