An engraved map, with hand colored wash. Size: 11.6 inches X 14.5 inches Map Type: Atlas This is an excellent copy, with strong color. Some chipping in the margins not affecting image. This map shows each county and the county seat. Roads and a growing network of railroads cross much of the eastern part of the state. The map displays rivers and other topographical features including the Crosstimbers area of north Texas. The locations of forts, trading posts, Indian villages, and council houses are also noted.
