An engraved map with hand colored wash and outlines. Size: 13 1/4 inches X 20 1/2 inches Map Type: Atlas This is an excellent copy with good colors. Taken from Atlas General, Civil et Ecclesiastique, noted for it's explanatory text on both sides of the map image. French map making was at it's peak in the mid-eighteenth century, and Louis Brion de la Tour was one of France's most prolific cartographers.
